Purpose: <br />To allow for the early termination of the contract for Building Inspection Services between the Cities of <br />Orono and Minnetonka Beach. <br /> <br />2. Background: the City has been providing building inspection and other related services to the City <br />of Minnetonka Beach. The most recent contract was entered into on July 13, 2010 and has been being <br />renewed annually since then. With the City’s recent change to all contracted services for building <br />services, the contract will be terminated on July 13, 2021. Minnetonka Beach has requested that they be <br />allowed to terminate the contract early so that they can move forward with securing a building services <br />contract with the vendor of their choice. <br /> <br />3. Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends approving the early termination of the contract. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to approve the resolution terminating the contract for Building Inspection Services between the <br />Cities of Orono and Minnetonka Beach. <br /> <br />Exhibits <br />A.
