It is our understanding that our service will <br />include limited survey work and part time construct ion observation just to ensure general compliance with <br />the plans and specifications for the project. <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br /> <br />Construction Staking and Observation <br />Limited survey crew time will be provided to assist with determining cuts and fills needed to meet ADA <br />trail requirements and the centerline of the trails will be documented for record drawing purposes. Part <br />time construction observation will also be provided. Duties of the Construction Observer will include the <br />following: <br />• Attendance at the pre-construction meeting and all construction -related meetings <br />• Serve as a liaison between the City and the contractor <br />• Review of the completed work to determine if the project is in general conformance with the <br />plans and specifications <br />• Maintenance of constructio n documentation <br /> <br />Construction Administration <br />Up to Construction administration duties will include the following: <br />• Administering a pre-construction meeting and construction meetings, as needed <br />• Review of shop drawings <br />• Preparation of pay estimates <br />• Contractor Communications <br />• Liaison with City Staff and Council <br /> <br />Record drawings detailing the completed improvements as recorded by the construction observer and the <br />City of Orono’s contractor will be completed and furnished to the City in hard copy and ele ctronic format. <br />Record plans will also be li nked to the City mapping system and the City’s GIS system will be updated. <br />
