•LLRC will continue to provide opportunities for our community’s <br />youth to physically and emotionally succeed where they may <br />have failed in other sports. <br />•LLRC will continue to provide life-long skills of teamwork, discipline, <br />commitment, and respect through the sport of rowing for youth <br />and adult members and the community at large. <br />•Title IX collegiate athletic regulations favor scholarship <br />opportunities in rowing for our local girls to attend colleges and <br />universities, setting them on the path to becoming productive <br />citizens who continue to enhance Orono’s citizenship and <br />community endeavors.
