Orono Municipal <br /> Code Section 10.03 B states: <br /> Nothing in this Zoning Chapter shall prevent the placing of a <br /> structure in safe condition when said structure is declared unsafe by <br /> the Building Inspector, providing the necessary repairs sha11 not <br /> constitute more than fifty percent (50$) of the fair market value of <br /> such structure. Structure shall include such accessory features <br /> attached to the structure or located anywhere on the 1and, such as <br /> signs, marquees, monuments. <br /> The improvements on this building w�i1 exceed more than 50$ of the fair <br /> �• market value. <br /> �opw, THEREFORE, B$ IT R$SOLVED as foiloWS: <br /> l. That the City Council of the City of Orono, pursuant to the <br /> foregoing findings and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Sections <br /> 463.15 to 463.261 hereby orders the owner(s) of the property to raze <br /> or repair the structure on the property. The Council further orders <br /> that all personal property or fixtures that may unreasonably interfere <br /> with the razing or repair be removed within twenty (20 ) days of the <br /> service of this order or the City of Orono may remove such personal <br /> property or fixtures. All costs incurred shall be charged to the <br /> � property owner(s) in accordance with the law. <br /> 2. The City Council of the City of Orono further orders that unless <br /> this corrective action.is taken or an answer is served upon the City <br /> of Orono and filed in the office of the Clerk of District Court of <br /> Hennepin County, Minnesota, within twenty (20 ) days from t�e date of <br /> the service of this order, a motion for summary enforcement of this <br /> order wil� be made at District Court of Hennepin County. <br /> 3. Since the City of Orono has found that this structure is a non- <br /> conforming structure and the owner has failed to take corrective <br /> action, the City requests by court order the structure to be removed. <br /> � 4. That the City Council of the City of Orono further orders that if <br /> the City is compelled to take corrective action herein a11 necessary <br /> costs expended by the City W�i 1 be assessed against the real estate <br /> concerned and collected in accordance with Minnesota Statute, Section <br /> 463.22. <br /> Page 2 of 3 � <br />
