• Oral Comprehension — Able to listen to and understand information and ideas presented <br />through spoken words and sentences. <br />• Oral Expression — Able to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others <br />will understand. <br />• Problem Sensitivity — Able to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It <br />does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. <br />• Written Comprehension — Able to read and understand information and ideas presented <br />in writing. <br />• Deductive Reasoning — Able to apply general rules to specific problems to produce <br />answers that make sense. <br /> <br />Minimum Requirements <br />• One (1) year of experience in parks or golf course maintenance. <br />• Valid MN Class “D” Driver’s License. <br />• Current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator or ability to obtain within <br />90 days of employment. <br />• No physical limitation required. <br />• Satisfactory results from drug test, physical examination, motor vehicle records check, <br />and criminal background investigation. <br /> <br />Desirable Qualifications <br />• Three (3) years of parks or golf course experience. <br />• Certified Arborist <br /> <br />Physical Demands and Working Environment <br />See Physical and Environmental Addendum <br />
