The purpose of this action item is to gain approval to purchase Ford F350 Pickup truck and <br />related components. <br /> <br />2. Background. The City of Orono will be supplying public work support and services to the City of <br />Spring Park beginning September 1, 2021. The contract included language showing the need to purchase <br />additional equipment to help supplement the overall public works operation. The truck is the same as ones <br />purchased back in 2018. <br /> <br />3. Cost. The City received quotes for pickup and components, listed below. The pricing is part of State <br />of Minnesota contract pricing. <br /> <br />Company Company / Model Cost <br />Waconia Ford F350 Pick up 4WD $32,414.00 <br /> + Tax, Lic. <br />Aspen Equipment Tommy gate, Storage box, Snow plow $13,631.00 <br /> Total: $ 46,045.00 <br /> <br />4. Funding. This vehicle will be funded through the Equipment Fund. <br /> <br />5. Staff Recommendation.
