THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF TESTS SHALL BE VERIFIED WITH THE SOILS ENGINEER AND <br />THE GOVERNING AUTHORITIES. <br />2.b.TWO ADDITIONAL TESTS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR EACH 0.5 ACRE OF INFILTRATION BASIN FLOOR AREA. <br />2.c.TEST PROCEDURE WILL FOLLOW ASTM D-3385-09 "STANDARD TEST METHOD FOR INFILTRATION RATE OF SOILS <br />IN FIELD USING DOUBLE-RING INFILTROMETER". <br />2.d.TEST WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE FINISHED BASIN FLOOR ELEVATION. <br />2.e.TEST WILL BE FOR A PERIOD AS OUTLINED IN ASTM D-3385-09. <br />2.f.THE TEST RESULTS WILL BE AVERAGED TO OBTAIN THE INFILTRATION RATE USED FOR ACCEPTANCE. <br />2.g.THE LOWEST MEASURED INFILTRATION RATE SHALL EXCEED THE DESIGN INFILTRATION RATE OF 0.2 <br />INCHES/HOUR. <br />2.h.THE AVERAGE OF THE MEASURED INFILTRATION RATES MUST MEET OR EXCEED THE DESIGN RATE OF 0.2 <br />INCHES/HOUR DIVIDED BY THE CORRECTION FACTOR USED IN CALCULATING THE DESIGN RATE AS NOTED IN <br />TABLE 12.INF.8 FROM THE LATEST EDITION OF THE MINNESOTA STORMWATER MANUAL. <br />IF THE INFILTRATION RATE AS TESTED DOES NOT MEET OR EXCEED THE REQUIRED RATE AS DETERMINED ABOVE, <br />CONTRACTOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE SOIL CORRECTIVE AND/OR SOIL REPLACEMENT WORK AS <br />NECESSARY WITHIN THE INFILTRATION BASIN AREA AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE UNTIL THE INFILTRATION <br />RATE AS TESTED EXCEEDS THE REQUIRED RATE AS DETERMINED ABOVE.
