Agreement No. PW 05-08-19 <br /> CSAH No. 15 & 19; C.P. 2151000 <br />9 ___ <br /> <br />(3) Workers’ Compensation and employer’s Liability: <br /> Work Workers’ Compensation: Statutory <br /> If the contractor is based outside the State of <br /> Minnesota, coverage must apply to Minnesota laws. <br /> <br /> Employer’s Liability. Bodily injury by: <br /> Accident – Each Accident $500,000 <br /> Disease – Policy Limit $500,000 <br /> Disease - Each Employee $500,000 <br /> <br />(4) Professional Liability – Per Claim and Aggregate: $2,000,000 <br /> <br /> The above listed Professional Liability insurance will not be required in any <br /> construction contract let by the City if the City’s contractors are not required to <br /> perform design engineering as part of the construction contract. <br /> <br /> An umbrella or excess policy over primary liability coverages is an acceptable <br /> method to provide the required insurance limits. <br /> <br /> The above subparagraphs establish minimum insurance requirements. It is the <br /> sole responsibility of the City’s contractors to determine the need for and to <br /> procure additional insurance which may be needed in connection with the Project. <br /> <br /> All insurance policies shall be open to inspection by the County and copies of <br /> policies shall be submitted to the County upon written request. <br /> <br />13. Worker Compensation Claims. <br /> <br /> City’s Employees. Any and all employees of the City and all other persons engaged by <br />the City in the performance of any work or services required or provided for he rein to <br />be performed by the City shall not be considered employees of the County, and any and <br />all claims that may or might arise under the Workers' Compensation Act or the <br />Unemployment Compensation Act of the State of Minnesota on behalf of the employees <br />while so engaged and any and all claims made by any third parties as a consequence of <br />any act or omission on the part of the employees while so engaged on any of the work <br />or services provided to be rendered herein shall in no way be the obligation or <br />responsibility of the County. <br /> <br /> County’s Employees.
