The purpose of this item is to gain Council approval for the replacement of Fire Department <br />UE13. <br /> <br />2. Background. See exhibit A. <br /> <br />3. Cost. The low quote for the vehicle is $170,000 from Fire Safe, USA. <br /> <br />4. Funding. The CIP had $130,000 allocated for the vehicle in 2021. Orono’s portion of the Purchase <br />of the vehicle the fire allocation within the Equipment Outlay Fund.
