<br /> Dear Mr. Wyatt,
<br /> We have received your comments regarding the Minnehaha Creek Watershed Permit for • ; ' "•
<br /> Orono Woods Apartments, dated 10/17/01, and we have made the following changes. • . ,
<br /> A. Rule B—Erosion Control:
<br /> 1. Silt fence will be utilized for inlet protection during the construction process.
<br /> 2. The construction schedule will be approximately as follows:
<br /> a. Site will be rough graded tier the building yet this fall.
<br /> b. The remainder of the site grading, utility work and parking installation
<br /> will be constructed the spring of 2002.
<br /> I Topsoil will be set aside and"stockpiled" during grading. Silt fence will be
<br /> installed at the base of this stockpile. If the need arises for more stockpiles,
<br /> silt fence will be placed around those as well.
<br /> B. Rule N— Stormwater Management:
<br /> 1. Permanent BMP's have been designed with the project. Please sec the
<br /> attached BMP Checklist provided by MC WD. A description of these BMP's
<br /> are as follows:
<br /> A. Ponds: A wet retention / detention pond will be utilized. This will be 41110
<br /> the MnDOT Pond. There are no wetlands on-site.
<br /> B. Infiltration: This development will be leaving existing trees and
<br /> wooded areas. They will provide an excellent infiltration area.
<br /> C. Filtering Systems: Buffer/ Filter strips will he utilized with the
<br /> protection of the existing wooded areas at the north line of the L o u C K S
<br /> property and also around the MnDOT Pond. Vegetated swales will
<br /> also be utilized to divert water away from the building.
