The proposed project is located in'the northwest quadrant of the T.H. 12/Brown <br /> Road intersection in Orono. <br /> The following three land use scenarios were studied: <br /> • Scenario 1 —24,000 square feet of office space and 62 senior housing. <br /> dwelling units <br /> • Scenario 2— 120,000 square feet of office space <br /> • Scenario 3 —40,000 square feet of supermarket space <br /> For the office and supermarket land uses, trip generation was estimated for the weekday <br /> p.m. peak hour and weekday daily using information from the Institute of <br /> Transportation Engineer's Trip Generation, 6th Edition: For the senior housing land <br /> use, trip generation was estimated using information collected by Benshoof& <br /> Associates, Inc. at an existing senior housing development in the Minneapolis area. <br /> Table 1 presents the results of the trip generation estimates. <br />
