CITY OF ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> yF G� NO. 7226 <br /> �4kESH00' <br /> A RESOLUTION <br /> GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF A VARIANCE <br /> ESTABLISHED PER RESOLUTION 7029 <br /> ORIGINAL FILE NO. LA19-000068 <br /> (NEW FILE NO. LA21-000064) <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br /> under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") has <br /> adopted land development regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within <br /> the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Sections 78-129, Eric <br /> Johnson (hereinafter the "Owner") have applied for an extension of the approvals granted under <br /> Resolution No. 7029 for property 580 Orchard Park Road and legally described as: <br /> Lot 12, Block 1, Orchard Park(hereinafter the"Property"); <br /> WHEREAS, on October 14, 2019 the City Council of Orono, Minnesota adopted <br /> Resolution No. 7029 granted to Eric Johnson which approved a variance from Section 78-395 to <br /> allow for the addition to an existing home within the front yard setback. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application by the Applicant for <br /> an extension of the approvals granted under Resolution No. 7029 for an addition to the Property; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Owners were not able to commence construction within the <br /> allotted one-year established by Resolution No. 7029 nor the one year administrative extension; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Sections 78-129, the <br /> Owners have made a request for an extension of the approvals granted in Resolution No. 7029. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Orono <br /> does hereby grant an extension to October 14, 2022 of the approvals granted under Resolution <br /> No. 7029, subject to the following conditions: <br />
