Gun Club Parcels • extension of the new 115 kV double circuit to these parcels would require crossings of US Highway 12, BNSF railroad, Metropolitan Council sewer interceptor and possible Baker Park Reserve property; and • possible wetlands at the property would reduce useable area for substation replacement. 3. City of Orono Parcel • extension of the new 115 kV double circuit to these parcels could require crossings of US Highway 12, BNSF railroad, Metropolitan Council sewer interceptor and possible Baker Park Reserve property; • possible wetlands at the property would reduce useable area for substation replacement; and • it is unclear whether or not the City of Orono has future plans for this parcel and whether the City would be willing to sell the parcel to Xcel Energy. 4. Eisinger Parcel • extension of the new 115 kV double circuit to these parcels could require crossings of US Highway 12, BNSF railroad, Metropolitan Council sewer interceptor and possible Baker Park Reserve property; and • possible wetlands at the property would reduce useable area for substation replacement. As noted above, one of Mr. Kuruvilla's alternative sites may include Baker Park Reserve property. If this is the case, Xcel Energy believes the Three Rivers Park District would not be willing, or may not be able to, sell Xcel Energy land for such use based upon their response to the alternate routes discussed in the Route Permit Application.
