The ordinance does allow the City <br /> to ask private property owners to trim or remove plantings that block <br /> motorist's views at intersections ; this authority is specifically <br /> defined in the ordinance. <br /> I have reviewed your request with the City Attorney and he also <br /> concurs that the ordinances of the City of Orono do not govern <br /> plantings within private properties.
