LA18-000043 <br /> WHEREAS, on April 18, 2018, Thomas and Kathryn Bergstrom ("Applicants"), <br /> applied for a variance from the City Code for the property addressed 1509 Long Lake Boulevard and <br /> legally described as: <br /> Lot 22, and the'East half of Lot 21, ALBEE' S LONG LAKE ADDITION (hereinafter <br /> the"Property"); <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-305 to allow rear yard setback variance for <br /> a17.9 foot setback ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-305 to allow a side yard setback variance <br /> for a 10.3 setback; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-305 to allow lot area variance; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicants have made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> variance to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-305 to allow lot width variance; and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 21, 2018, after published and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City Code, the City Council held a public hearing, at which time all <br /> persons desiring to be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak <br /> thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 21, 2018, the Planning Commission recommended approval <br /> of the variance; and <br /> WHEREAS, on June 11, 2018, the City Council reviewed the application and the <br /> recommendations of the Planning Commission and City staff; and <br /> • <br /> 1 <br />
