All additional signs in front island or landscape area are to <br /> be removed. The use of temporary portable signs is discouraged <br /> until the final code and comprehensive plan amendments have been <br /> completed. The use of temporary signs is limited to 3 to 5 day <br /> periods and requires a permit from the City. <br /> 5. The City Council places the owner on notice that he (she) is <br /> solely responsible for the maintenance and implementation of this <br /> staged signage plan and that violation of or non-compliance with <br /> any of the terms and conditions of this resolution shall <br /> constitute a violation of the zoning code, shall automatically <br /> terminate any authority granted herein, and shall be punishable <br /> as a misdemeanor. <br /> 6. Authorities granted by these variances run with the property <br /> not with the applicant, but are permissive only and must be <br /> • exercised by application for a building permit within one year of <br /> the date of Council approval, or these variances will expire on <br /> that date (November 10, 1987). <br /> 7.
