In <br />addition, it was their request to be transitioned to a municipal fire department. <br /> <br />The contracts with Long Lake Fire Department, Loretto Fire Department and Maple Plain <br />Fire Department would likely need to be terminated in accordance with the terms of the <br />respective contract. In this instance, the new municipal fire department would not <br />necessarily provide service to the entire City until these contracts are finally terminated. <br /> <br />The following organizational chart illustrates the recommended organization for the <br />municipal fire department. Changes to meet the needs of the department can be made <br />depending on the direction and authority the department is permitted. For example, <br />recruitment and retention is typically a human resources function but could be assigned <br />to the fire department in which case a recruitment position may be warranted. <br /> <br /> <br />
