CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />NO. ________________________ <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO <br />CHRISTINE MATTSON <br />FOR 14 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE <br />TO THE CITY OF ORONO <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Christine Mattson, has served the City of Orono since May 31, 2007 as Planning <br />Assistant; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Christine’s nearly 14 years of service have been marked by dedication to the best <br />interests of the community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Christine has consistently strived for accuracy and timeliness in the execution of <br />her duties; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, nearly every construction permit issued by the City during her tenure passed <br />through Christine’s capable hands; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Christine has earned the respect and friendship of residents, applicants, <br />developers, and co-workers for her patience, kindness, professional knowledge, amazing cookies, <br />continued willingness to assist others, organization, research skills, diagnostic abilities, recollection <br />of old cowboy shows, classic country music, and humor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Christine has proven to be a valuable asset to the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Orono does <br />hereby express its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Christine Mattson for her dedicated service to <br />the community and does also highly commend her for the manner in which she has carried out her <br />duties and responsibilities. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council extends to Christine their best wishes <br />for continued success in her future endeavors. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held this 11th day of <br />January 2021. <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />___________________________ _________________________ <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor
