The purpose of this action item is to approve a sanitary sewer televising proposal for the <br />2021 sanitary sewer inspections. <br /> <br />2. Background. As part of the preventative maintenance program, the City cleans and inspects 20% of <br />the sanitary sewer system annually. The cleaning is completed by Public Works Employees. The <br />inspection consists of televising the sewers after they are cleaned. The inspections are used to inform <br />future sewer maintenance activities. <br /> <br />3. Project Scope. The sanitary sewer inspection project will consist of televising approximately 52,000 <br />feet of sanitary sewer pipe. <br /> <br />4. Cost. The City solicited 2 quotes. Listed below. The lowest quote from a qualified contractor was <br />$30,047.95 from American Environmental, Inc. <br /> <br />Contractor Quote <br />American Environmental $ 30,047.95 <br />Hydro Klean $ 31,015.26 <br /> <br />5. Funding. Staff Recommendation.
