CITY OF ORONO �O� <br /> Municipal Offices O O <br /> Post Office Box 66 <br /> Crystal eay, MN 55323-0066 a a ON-BITE 3EWA(�E TREATI�NT <br /> v�,� � INSPECTION REPORT <br /> �' G~ <br /> ��kESHo4'� <br /> Owner• �^���Addresa• � l/�,� <br /> Permit #'s: O Dates: ���� Contractore: 1 , <br /> City ordinance n�nber 100 requires that each on-site sewage treatment system in Orono be inspected on a regular basis. <br /> The on-site sewage treat�nt system at the above address has been inspected and appears to fall into the category <br /> checked below. <br /> (This is �an existing system [ ] new construction) <br /> SYSTEM CONFORMITY C1-3): <br /> 1 "CODE S1fSTEM"-A system Which meets all the location, design, and construction standards of the current City <br /> Codes, and Which is operating satisfactorily by treating and disposing of the entire current sewage input <br /> without discharging any pollutants into ground or surface waters. <br /> Z "CONFORMING SYSTEM"-A system which does not meet all the lxation, design, and construction standards of the <br /> current City Codes, but was installed according to the code in effect at the time of installation, and which <br /> is operating satisfectorily by treating and disposing of the entire current sewage input without discharging <br /> any poltutants into ground or surface waters. <br /> 3 "NON-CONFORMING SYSTEM"-A prohibited system; a system located within a designated 100-year floodptain; any <br /> system which �y or may not meet all the location, design, and construction stenderds of the current City <br /> Codes and which is failir�g for any reason; and any_system with less than 3 feet of unsaturated soil or send <br /> between the dist�ibution device and the limiting so�l characteristics. <br /> (The limitin� soil characteristic �-has or [ 7 hes not been identified et this time. If the limiting soil <br /> charecterist�c has not been identified, this classificetion �y be subject to revision.> <br /> TANK CONDiTION (5-10): <br /> Tenk inspection indicates: <br /> 5 P�anpout not needed at this ti�. <br /> 6 Solids accunulation in tanks indicetes they should be p�mmed out this year to help prevent future problems. <br /> 7 Solids eccumulation in tanks is at a critical level. Tenks should be p�nped out as soon as possible. <br /> System is discharging to the surfece. Tanks must be pu�ed out within 48 hours to eliminate surface dischar$e. <br /> � Inspection risers missing-tanks could not be inspected. Inspection r' ers (4�� dia. i ) must be installed �n each <br /> tank at next p�out. If tanks have not been wi in t e as ree ye , �� <br /> 10 Inspection pipe is located directl over tank baffle (does not give eccurete measuremen � s c la ion� <br /> If tanks have not been p�out within the last three years, they should be p�nnped out now. <br /> pRAINFIELD CONDITION (11-14): <br /> D field inspection indicates: <br /> 11 Drainfield is dry, no surfacing evident. <br /> Some evidence of surfacing, nat criticel yet. <br /> 13 Dreinfield is saturated end visibly discharging untreated effluent to the surface. Contact the City Inspector <br /> im�diately.
