Medina City Code 828.Zoning—Performance Standards and Enforcement <br /> (iv)the vehicle must comply with all applicable parking regulations and utilize <br /> only the existing driveway or access point to the site; and <br /> (v)the vehicle may not be used for business purposes. <br /> (c) Commercial Vehicle Parking. Parking of commercial vehicles in residential areas <br /> shall conform with the requirements of Section 335 of the city code. <br /> Subd. 7. Off-Street Bicycle and Motorcycle Parking.Provisions shall be made for the <br /> off-street parking of bicycles and motorcycles in all multiple family and non- <br /> residential developments and uses. Plans for such facilities shall be reviewed and <br /> evaluated on an individual project or use basis as part of site plan review provisions <br /> of Section 825.55 of this Chapter. <br /> Subd. 8. Pedestrian Ways and Trails. Off-street parking areas shall provide pedestrian <br /> access between the building,parking lot, and sidewalk. Parking layout shall be <br /> designed such that parking areas do not intrude on pedestrian access or impact <br /> accessibility. <br /> Section 828.53. Off-Street Loading and Unloading Areas. <br /> Subd. 1.Location. All required loading berths shall be off-street and shall be located on the <br /> same lot as the building or use to be served. A loading berth shall be located at least twenty <br /> five(25)feet from the intersection of two(2)street rights-of-way and at least fifty(50)feet <br /> from a residential district,unless within a building. Loading berths shall not occupy the <br /> required front yard space. <br /> Subd.2. Unless otherwise specified in this Ordinance,a required loading berth shall be not less <br /> than twelve(12)feet in width,fifty(50)feet in length, and fourteen(14)feet in height, <br /> exclusive of aisles and maneuvering space. <br /> Subd.3. Each required loading berth shall be located with appropriate means of vehicular <br /> access to a street or public alley in a manner which will least interfere with traffic. <br /> Subd. 4. Surfacing. All loading berths and accessways shall be improved with a hard surface <br /> to control the dust and drainage before occupancy of the structure. <br /> Subd.5. Accessory Use. Any space allocated as a loading berth or maneuvering area so as to <br /> comply with the terms of this Ordinance shall not be used for the storage of goods, <br /> inoperable vehicles, or be included as a part of the space requirements necessary to meet the <br /> off-street parking area. <br /> Subd. 6. Off-Street Loading Required. Any structure erected or substantially altered for a <br /> use which requires the receipt or distribution of materials or merchandise by trucks or <br /> similar vehicles shall provide off-street loading space as required for a new structure. <br /> 828.
