(Genmar) is the owner of the above-referenced property. <br /> This letter is intended to serve as Genmar's formal written appearance before the Local <br /> Board of Appeal and Equalization, scheduled for April lg, 2006, at �:oo p.m. Genmar <br /> will not be appearing personally or by representative at the Board meeting. <br /> Genmar believes that the valuation set for the 2006 assessment exceeds the true <br /> fair market value for the property. We attach a copy of the 2006 Notice of Valuation for <br /> the subject property for the Board's reference. <br /> We have contacted the assessor in charge of this property, Ms. Kim Jensen, and <br /> are working with Ms. Jensen to review the valuation and hopefully reach a mutually <br /> agreeable resolution. While that process continues, and in the event we are unable to <br /> resolve the valuation issue before the April i9 Board meeting, we respectfully request <br /> that the Board meeting remain open for the allowable period as it relates to the subject <br /> property, so that further discussions may take place.
