Moorse � f f'� City Administrator's Report <br /> Title City Administrator � <br /> Item Description : Farview Neighborhood Sanitary Sewer Project—Public Hearing <br /> We have received a signed petition from the Farview Neighborhood residents requesting an <br /> assessment sanitary sewer project. A feasibility study has been completed with an estimated <br /> project cost of$178,500, which results in a proposed assessment of$8,500 per unit for twenty- <br /> one units. This cost can be assessed over a fifteen year period, at a 6.25% annual interest rate. <br /> A Public Hearing Notice was sent to all of the property owners, and a Legal Notice of this <br /> hearing was published for two consecutive weeks in the Sun Sailor newspaper. The public <br /> hearing is being conducted to obtain resident input on this project. If a favorable response is <br /> received from the neighborhood residents, the next step in the process is the Council's adoption <br /> of a resolution ordering preparation of plans and specifications, and advertising for bids, for this <br /> project. <br /> COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br /> Motion regarding the adoption of a resolution ordering the preparation of plans and <br /> specifications, and advertising for bids for the Farview Neighborhood sanitary sewer <br /> improvements. <br />
