MINTJTES OF TIIE <br /> , ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> IVlonday, Septembei• 18, 2006 <br /> 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> (#06-3233 St. Edward Chui•cli, Continued) <br /> Jurgens mo�c�ed to recommeiid approval of Application#06-3233, Episcopal Diocese, St. Edward <br /> Church, 865 Ferndale Road North, grauting of a conditional use permit subject to the <br /> x•ecoinmendations of'the Ciiy Engineer and tlie wetland consultant. <br /> Curtis stated the applicant would need a variance to place a sio 1 in excess of 12 feet. <br /> Jurgens inquired whether the proposed monument sign other than height meets all of the City's sign <br /> requirements. <br /> Curtis stated they require a variance because of the zoning district fihe church is located in. <br /> Jurgens stated his motion«�ould also include a recoinmendation of denial of the additional si:� <br /> inches for the monument sign but would recommend approval of'the sign variance. <br /> Kerupf seconded. Bremer stated the Anderson application was approved with the <br /> requiren�ent that the decic Ue reduced to 18 feet. <br /> The Planning Comnlission discussed the Hernpel application. <br /> Gaffron stated Troy Broitzman has sent an e-mail to the City indicating that he has a potential buyer foz� <br /> the property who would lil:e to construct a smaller sized house on.the lot. <br /> 11.
