The Orono Plaiu7ing Commission reviewed this application on July 21; 2003 and recommended approval as proposPd on a vote of 7 to 0. 1 F�. The City Council finds that granting a conditional use permit for continued use of the property far a church use will not be c':etrimer.tal to the health, safety or general welfare of the public, tivould not adversely affect light, air nor pose a fire hazard or other danger to neighboring properties, nor tivili its use depreciate surrounding property values and that the proposed level of use of the property tivill be in keeping tivith the intent and objectives oi the Zonin� Code and Comprehensive Plan of thz City. 17. The City Council has considered this application including the findings and recommendations of the Planning Commission,reports by City Staff, comments by the applicant and the effect of the proposed conditional use pennit on the health, safety and welfare of the community.
