The purpose of this action item is to gain approval to accept a donations for Big Island Park <br />from the Goodman Foundation via the Big Island Legacy <br /> <br />2. Background. The Big Island Legacy (BIL), a 501C3, initiated a funding drive to help support the <br />ongoing Big Island Project. The group committed $68,000 at the time of the project award. At the time <br />for award the group provided $58,000. This most recent check for $10,000 provides the remaining <br />commitment. <br /> <br />3. Donations Received: Goodman Foundation via the Big Island Legacy, $10,0000 for the Big Island <br />ADA Trails Project <br /> <br />4. Staff Recommendation.
