When will Flags be flown? <br /> -United States Flag- Everyday <br /> -Minnesota State Flag- when directed <br /> -Armed Services Flags- when directed <br /> -POW/MIA Flag- when directed <br /> -Thin Blue Line Flag – Peace Officers Day, Police Week, Patriots Day <br /> -Thin Red Line Flag- National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Day, Fire Prevention <br />Week <br /> -Public Works Flag- Public Works Week <br /> <br />E. Half-Staff <br /> -Flags shall be flown at half-staff when prescribed by the President of the United <br />States for days of national mourning, by the Governor of the State of Minnesota, or when <br />prescribed by the Mayor of the City of Orono. On Memorial Day and Patriot’s Day. <br /> <br />F. Where Flown: <br /> -The United States Flag will be flown on the main flag pole in front of City Hall <br /> -All other Flags may be flown on other poles on City Hall Campus so as to not <br />disrespect or violate the rules surrounding the United States Flag <br /> <br />
