Purpose: To clarify how flags should be flown and what type of flags may be flown on City <br />Property. <br /> <br />2. Background: On September 14, 2020 Council approved a motion to fly the Thin Blue Line <br />Flag in support of the City’s police officers. Concerns were brought up about other flags <br />being flown and how the flags were being flown. On September 28, 2020 during the city <br />council meeting staff was directed to draft a policy regarding these concerns. <br /> <br />3.
