The purpose of this action item is to formally call a Special Meeting to canvass election <br />results from the General Election held on November 3, 2020 for Friday, November 13, 2020 at <br />1:00 p.m. <br /> <br />2. Background. Due to the additional week to accept mail-in Absentee ballots, Veterans Day, and <br />the time needed to prepare statistics from the General Election held on November 3rd, Cities and <br />Schools must canvass on November 13, 2020. <br /> <br />3. City Communications. A notice of the change will be displayed on the Notices page of the <br />City’s website. This notice will also be sent out to the regular posting locations, posted on the <br />listserv, and then posted to Facebook and Twitter.
