Purpose: To authorize purchase of Rescue Extrication equipment by Long Lake Fire Department <br /> <br />Background: The City of Long Lake has applied some of Chief Van Eyll’s wages towards CARES Act <br />Funding. This transition provides additional funds within the budget that would typically be returned to <br />the partner cities. Long Lake fire is proposing to utilize some of these additional funds to improve/replace <br />equipment within the fire department. This request is a change to budget allocations as adopted by the <br />City and is also considered a capital purchase. The details of the equipment purchase request are provided <br />in Exhibit A. <br /> <br />2. Staff Recommendation: Approve the capital expenditure purchase for rescue extrication equipment <br />in the amount of $23,750. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to approve the capital expenditure purchase for rescue extrication equipment in the amount of <br />$23,750. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Exhibit A <br />A.
