This application is regarding lot width, lot area, and hardcover variances in order to <br />redevelop the property. <br /> <br />2. MN§15.99 Application Deadline. The application was received and was considered to be <br />complete on June 16, 2020. The 60-Day review period has been extended and now expires on <br />October 14, 2020. <br /> <br />3. Background/ Summary. The applicants are requesting variances in order to replace their <br />existing home on a property which has substandard area and width. Additionally requested is a <br />hardcover variance to permit 26.9% hardcover where 25% is permitted. The hardcover levels on <br />site are currently 34.2%. The lakeshore property does not have direct frontage on North Shore <br />Drive, nor does it have the ability to park offsite due to the landlocked configuration. It is <br />situated between two marinas. <br /> <br />4. Planning Commission Vote and Comment. On July 20th the Planning Commission held a <br />public hearing. Following the public hearing the Planning Commission voted 6 to 0 on a motion <br />to approve the requested variances. <br /> <br />5. Public Comment. Comments from the neighbors were received and are attached as Exhibit D. <br /> <br />6. Staff Recommendation.
