(c) Procedure. <br /> (1)The person applying for a major or minor expansion permit shall fill out and submit <br /> to the planning staff an expansion permit request form with fee as required by City Code <br /> Chapter 101.A site plan with a certificate of survey must be attached at a scale large <br /> enough for clarity showing the following information: <br /> i. Location and dimensions of: <br /> 1. Lot; <br /> 2. Building; <br /> 3. Driveways; and <br /> 4. Off-street parking spaces. <br /> ii. Distance between: <br /> 1. Building and front,side, and rear lot lines; <br /> 2. Principal building and accessory buildings; <br /> 3. Principal building and principal buildings on adjacent lots. <br /> iii.The location of signs, easements, underground utilities, etc. <br /> iv. Any additional information as may be reasonably required by the planning <br /> staff and applicable sections of this zoning chapter. <br /> (2) Minor Expansion Permit <br /> i.The planning staff will refer a minor expansion permit application to the <br /> Community Development Director for review.The Community Development <br /> Director shall grant or deny the application administratively and may impose <br /> administratively any reasonable conditions the Community Development <br /> Director deems necessary to protect the public health,safety and welfare and <br /> the essential character of the neighborhood,to insure compliance with this <br /> chapter, or to protect the adjacent property. <br /> ii.The Community Development Director may refer an application for a minor <br /> expansion permit to the Planning Commission and City Council, as if the <br /> application is for a major expansion permit,when the Community Development <br /> Director determines that the application requires additional review and <br /> consideration by the Planning Commission and City Council. <br /> iii.An applicant may appeal the determination of the Community Development <br /> Director in accordance with Article II, Division 3 Appeals and Variances. <br /> (3) Major Expansion Permit <br />
