May 20, 2020 <br /> Dear Planning Commission and City Council Members, <br /> Thank you for considering our request to improve our property located at 3585 <br /> Frederick Street in Orono.We have lived in this home since purchasing it in <br /> December 2008. The house was built in the 60's, has a 2-car garage and a wrap <br /> around driveway. It is our intent to build a three car garage over a portion of the <br /> existing driveway and eliminate the balance of one of the two legs of the driveway. <br /> This results in a net reduction of hard cover on the lot. <br /> John and I are getting older and it is becoming more difficult for us to load summer <br /> furniture and gear into a truck twice per year and take it to a rented storage unit in <br /> Mound.Your approval of this request would allow us to create necessary storage <br /> space and eliminate the need to rent a monthly storage space. <br /> Again thank you for your consideration in this matter.
