Purpose. This application is regarding a conditional use permit for office use. <br />2. MN§15.99 Application Deadline. The application was received on November 24, <br />2019 and considered to be complete on December 18th. The 60 -day review period was <br />extended and expires on April 16, 2020. <br />3. Background/ Summary. The applicant is requesting conditional use permit (CUP) <br />approval for office use. The building has been used as an office in the past. The existing <br />building is primarily remaining as -is on the exterior, with exception of changes to <br />signage, parking lot improvements, removal of a deteriorating porch, and installation of <br />an accessible ramp with deck and landings for access to the side door. An administrative <br />site plan review is required, which will be completed prior to issuance of a building <br />permit. <br />4. Planning Commission Vote and Comment. On January 21St, the Planning Commission <br />held a public hearing. Following the public hearing the Planning Commission voted 3 to <br />0 in favor of a motion to approve the CUP. Commissioner Libby abstained. <br />5. Public Comment. Comments were received and are attached as Exhibit D. <br />6. Staff Recommendation.
