The purpose of this memorandum is to solicit Council direction (Type, Size and Quantity) <br />on decorations for the Navarre Light Poles. <br /> <br />2. Background. The streetlight posts the City had installed come with several attachments for <br />decorative items. The poles can support banners, holiday lights and flags. Thirty-two of the light poles <br />can support holiday decorations. Earlier this spring the Council approved banners for the light poles. At <br />the last work session the council indicated a desire to provide holiday decorations. <br /> <br />3. Decorations Options. There are countless options for holiday light pole decorations. Funding. Light pole decorations are not currently budgeted but could be paid for from the <br />Community Investment Fund. <br /> <br />5. Recommendation. I recommend a simple design with LED lights.
