MINUTES OF THE <br />ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />Monday, April 27, 2015 <br />7:00 o’clock p.m. <br />_____________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />Page 1 of 21 <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />The Orono City Council met on the above-mentioned date with the following members present: Mayor <br />Lili Tod McMillan, Council Members Jim Cornick, Jr., Lizz Levang, Aaron Printup, and Dennis Walsh. <br />Representing Staff were City Administrator Jessica Loftus, Finance Director Ron Olson, Senior Planner <br />Michael Gaffron, City Planner Melanie Curtis, Public Works Director/City Engineer Adam Edwards, City <br />Attorney Soren Mattick, and Recorder Jackie Young. <br /> <br />Mayor McMillan called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Item Nos. 3, 6, 7, 9, and 11 were added to the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Levang moved, Cornick seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda as amended. VOTE: Ayes 5, <br />Nays 0. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />*2. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 13, 2015 <br /> <br />Levang moved, Cornick seconded, to approve the minutes of the Orono City Council meeting of <br />April 13, 2015, as submitted. VOTE: Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS – JOHN THIESSE, REPRESENTATIVE <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT REPORT <br /> <br />*3. #14-3686 JOHN BESSESEN AND TOM WASMOEN O/B/O DAVID DELANEY, 2500 <br />KELLY AVENUE RPUD REZONING DENIAL – RESOLUTION NO. 6497 <br /> <br />Levang moved, Cornick seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 6497, a Resolution Denying a <br />Rezoning to Residential Planned Unit Development for the Property at 2500 Kelly Avenue.
