Purpose. The purpose of this action item is to gain Council approval of one seasonal park <br />employee. <br /> <br />2. Compensation. The pay is proposed to be $10.00 per hour with an average of 30 hrs per <br />week from April to October. Seasonal employees are excluded from PERA membership if <br />certain conditions exist. Employees can be hired under the maximum earnings provision which <br />limits annual compensation to $5100 without any restrictions on the number of months worked <br />or on a 6 month timeframe where the employees work for no more than 185 days. This position <br />will fall under the 6 month PERA Classification. <br /> <br />3.
