; MINUTES OF THE � <br /> ORONO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> �-, <br /> Monday,February 13,2006 <br /> 7:00 o'clock p.m. <br /> � 1, Hardcover variance to pennit 34.51 percent hardcover within the 75'-250' zone where 25 percent <br /> is nonnally allowed and 38 percent cunently exists. <br /> 2. Hardcover variance to permit 57 percent hardcover witlun the 250-500' zone wliere 30 percent is <br /> nonnally allowed and 49.5 percent cun•ently e�cists. <br /> The Plamiing Coimuission reconunended denial of the variances as requested but recommended approval <br /> of the variances only to the extent of the prior approval of 7uly 2002. The prior a�proval included <br /> limiting the size of the garage to 22'by 34', a 5-foot setback, and hardcover not to exceed 34.1 percent ul <br /> the 75-250' zone, not to exceed 45.36 perceut in the 250-500' zone. <br /> Staff recominends approval of tlie application per the Plamung Conunission's recommendation. Gaffron <br /> noted the final building plans and drainage and grading plans have to be submitted. <br /> White inquired how long it would be before the applicant would be able to submit the required <br /> documents. <br /> Palm stated tl�e water issues from the adjoining pro�;erty has delayed his project and that l�e has not had <br /> foimal�lans drawn up.
