It has come to <br /> light through discussions with their architect that they must provide an internal stairway <br /> system, which will require that the proposed lst-story addition be extended an additional <br /> 10' northward, for a total of 40'. They are also contemplating an option to add a second <br /> story above the addition, extending the roofline and walls of the existing building. <br /> Because either of these are potentially significant visual changes to the building, staff has <br /> advised them that this will be considered as an amendment of their current approval, and <br /> should be reviewed by the Planning Commission and Council, including reopening the <br /> public hearing process. <br /> COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br /> Refer Application#OS-3139 back to the Planning Commission for review and public <br /> hearing at the March 20 Commission meeting. <br />
