Does Planning Conunission accept the preniise that the tunnel connection does not <br /> automatically result in the garage becoming `attached' for zoning purposes? If you reject <br /> that premise, then the turuiel caruiot be allowed for this site plan... <br /> 2. Are there any other issues or concerns with this application? <br /> Staff Recommendation <br /> Staff recoirunends approval of the variances as requestecl, subject to meeting the <br /> recoirunendations of the City Engineer, subject to reducing the footprint size of the proposed <br /> detached garage to no greater than 750 s.f., and subject to a condition that if the detached garage <br /> is coruiected to the house via an underground tunnel, that comlection will not be allowed to <br /> extend above grade. <br />
