Cement is <br /> worn completely off the driveway from water running off roof. <br /> -This revealed the top of a support beam critical to the <br /> structure of the driveway (photo) <br /> • The pitch of the driveway throws water into the house. <br /> -Result is permanent damage to siding of house above <br /> and below the driveway <br /> Proof: visible damage on house exterior above driveway, <br /> and carpenter ants infesting house below driveway had to <br /> be exterminated (receipt). Leakage still exists (photo). <br /> 2. Provision of shelter <br /> • Current arrangement can't shelter more than one person from <br /> light precipitation. Heavy rain splashes onto one person, <br /> drenches additional people. <br /> 3. Small slab of new cement would have 2 functions: <br /> • Be a step to the front door for a more level entrance <br /> � Be a more permanent repair for patched area over driveway <br /> support beam <br />
