II. Summary and Recommendations <br /> The construction of sanitary sewer to serve Jamestown Road is feasible from an engineering <br /> standpoint. The capital cost, as well as operation and maintenance costs, have been considered in <br /> determining that the project is cost effective. The costs of these improvements are intenelated and <br /> should be assigned equitably between all properties. The following recommendations are presented <br /> for consideration by the Orono City Council: <br /> 1. That this Report be adopted as the guide for installation of pressure sanitary sewer <br /> system in the Jamestown Road area. <br /> 2. That the City conduct a legal and fiscal review of the proposed project prior to the <br /> public hearing. <br /> 3. That a public hearing be held on the proposed improvements.
