CITY OF ORONO <br />HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />FILE NO. ___________________ <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO ADOPT ADMINISTRATIVE PENALTY FOR <br />ORONO CITY CODE ARTICLE VI: SPECIAL EVENTS <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has enacted Orono City Code §§ 66-250 and 66-251, <br />establishing a procedure for requesting the voluntary payment of administrative penalties for <br />certain violations of the code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the provisions of Orono City Code §§ 66-250 and 66-251 authorize the City <br />Council, by a resolution adopted by a majority of its members, to identify administrative offenses <br />and establish penalties for these offenses; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council as follows: <br /> <br />Any person who violates any provision of Article VI of Orono City Code shall face a <br />presumptive administrative civil penalty of $250 for a first violation, $500 for second violation, <br />and $1000 for a third violation or each violation thereafter as defined by Orono City Code § 66- <br />230(b). <br /> <br /> <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE: This resolution shall be effective immediately upon passage according to <br />law. <br /> <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />______________________________ _______________________________ <br />Anna Carlson, City Clerk Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br />
