YES <br /> Additional Work Described on Number - <br /> Cost Estimate $ 42,848 <br /> Recommendation Level 8 <br /> This issue is a result of a few things. 1)area residents have been dumping debris into the city <br /> property blocking drainage to the outlet. 2) The outlet pipe is broken and needs to be <br /> replaced. 3) downstream pipe is collapsed and should be replaced. 4)downstream pipe size <br /> is reduced and may restrict the flow. 5)the downstream outlet to the lake can not be located <br /> from field inspections. It could be plugged or blocked. This may require replacing the storm <br /> sewer system down to the lake from the city property in order for it to function properly. Given <br /> that this issue is not adjacent to the reconstruct project, is not under an existing street to be <br /> improved, and does not appear to be an immediate threat to property, it is categorized as a <br /> nuisance. However, due to the fact that the existing pipes are failing, it is recommended that <br /> this issue be added to the City's CIP and be addressed in the near future.
