Staff <br /> is scheduled to meet with Boe Carlson of Three Rivers Parks on July 7 to further discuss the <br /> parking issue. (MPG) <br /> • Staff has sent a violation notice to the owner and prospective operators of a Boat Club that <br /> has recently placed commercial signage advertising the Club on one of the two residentially <br /> zoned properties associated with the former Windward Marine (most recently Marine Max) <br /> site at 1440-1444 Shoreline Drive. The two residential properties (1440 and 1442 Shoreline) <br /> are zoned LR-lA Single Family; the only allowed commercial use of them is for overflow <br /> parking for the marina operation, allowed via a conditional use permit granted as part of the <br /> marina license in 1980 and subsequent years. (MPG) <br /> • The attached letters were sent to LMCD, Water Patrol and Minnetonka Portable Dredging <br /> thanking them for their assistance in making the Big Island Weekend successful. (MPG) <br /> • Staff has received word from Met Council that the Comprehensive Plan submittal has been <br /> deemed as `complete for review'. Review by the Met Council's Environment Committee is <br /> tentatively scheduled for July 13, with action by the Community Development Committee on <br /> July 19, followed by Metropolitan Council action on July 28. Staff will be attending both <br /> committee meetings (potentially to also include Tom Kellogg and/or Steve Grittman). (MPG) <br /> • The attached special event permit for a wedding reception to be held on June 25, 2010 at 95 <br /> Smith Avenue has been issued. <br /> • The attached invitation was received from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District inviting <br /> local leaders for an on-the-water learning opportunity about shorelines, stormwater, and <br /> keeping our waters healthy. Registration information is included on invitation. <br /> o "Shorelines and Stormwater: Addressing Impaired Waters and Protecting our Lakes and <br /> Creeks" <br /> o Wednesday, July 14, 2010 <br /> 0 5:00— 8:30 p.m. <br /> o Aboard the Queen of Excelsior, Departing from the Excelsior City Docks <br /> o Registration begins at 5:00.
