You have always been very easy <br /> to work with and very accomodating. The MCWD has a very good staff in place. The current staff are <br /> some of the best that we have worked with and sincerely hape that you are doing whatever you can <br /> to keep them at the MCWD. <br /> We would like to address some concerns that I have regarding the Changes in Rule F: <br /> 1.) By considering Rip Rap floodplain fill, which would require the homeownerto provide compensatory <br /> storage,this would all but elimi�ate Rip Rap in most cases on Lake Minnetonka. Most homeowners on Lake <br /> Minnetonka do not have the available land to provide forthis storage. In addition, many cities do not allow <br /> any grading to be done 75'upland which would make it impossible to provide this storage. <br /> Also,the Departrnent of Natural Resources does not consider Rip Rap Floodplain Fill. <br /> 2.) The Erosion Intensity Scoresheet looks to be a generic worksheet and we do not feel that this scoresheet wfll <br /> wo�k on lake Minnetonka. We feel that most of the erosion•is due to boat traffic,ice push and unpredictable high <br /> winds. The worksheet does not address some of thase factors. <br />
