All other expenses normally and reasonably incidental to the operation of a <br /> ten officer, Chief included, police department. <br /> 14. Administrative overhead charge of 10°/o of all the above costs. <br /> 2. Public Imaae. The designation "Orono-Long Lake-Minnetonka Beach-Sprin� Park Police <br /> Department" shall be affixed to all police cars used by the Orono Police Department under <br /> the tenns of this agreement and the City of Orono shall cause the listing for the Police <br /> Department for each Contract City to be inserted in the appropriate telephone directories as <br /> may be distributed in the contracting cities. If another city contracts with the City of Orono <br /> for service, its name may also be added to the above. <br /> 3. Level of Seiti�ices. The quality and level of services rendered to the Contract Cities shall be <br /> the same as the services rendered to the City of Orono, eacept as hereinafter stated. <br /> It is the desire of the City of Long Lake to purchase from the City of Orono police service <br /> beyond the basic service; such service to be delivered in a method that provides service <br /> equivalent to that which would be received had Long Lake hired two individual officers to <br /> serve it exclusively. The equivalent of two full-time officers is agreed to be a total of 3640 <br /> in-service hours per year(35 hours per officer per week for 52 weeks)because provision is <br /> made for vacations, sick days, trainin�, etc. This two officer equivalent will be provided in <br /> tl�e form of staff hours served within the boundaries of the City of Long Lake. The exact <br /> number of hours during any given month may vary by mutually agreed upon scheduling,but <br /> the aggregate average over the year will be 70 hours per week with variations of plus or <br /> minus 10 hours in any given week being considered acceptable delivery of the contracted <br /> Page 2 <br />
