<br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 74,
<br /> ARTICLE IV, OF THE ORONO CITY CODE
<br /> CONCERNING PERMITTED USES AND CONDITIONAL USES
<br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF ORONO, MINNESOTA, ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> SECTION 1. City Code Chapter 74, Land Use, Article IV, Section 74-2(a) is hereby amended
<br /> as follows:
<br /> Sec. 74-2. Membership.
<br /> (a) The planning commission is composed of five se�e�rmembers, who serve
<br /> staggered three-year terms. The period of these terms is from April 1 to March 31, and the
<br /> members shall be appointed by the second business meeting in March.
<br /> (b) It is the policy of the council to appoint persons to the planning commission as
<br /> follows:

<br /> �(� The zoning administrator and one councilmember shall be members of the
<br /> commission ex officio and without vote.
<br /> �{� The council may by majority vote appoint one or more alternate planning
<br /> commission members to serve when regular members are absent. Alternate
<br /> members shall be chosen at large.
<br /> SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective upon approval and publication.
<br /> Adopted by the City Council of Orono on this 26th day of October, 2009 by a vote of
<br /> ayes and nays.
