MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> FROM: ORONO MANAGEMENT TEAM <br /> SUBJECT: INFORMATION UPDATE <br /> DATE: SEPTEMBER 18, 2009 <br /> • MnDOT's Wayzata Boulevard mill and overlay project is expected to begin Monday <br /> September 28, to be completed by October 20. Traffic movement will be maintained <br /> during the project without the need for a detour. <br /> • The Three Rivers Park District is tentatively scheduled to attend the October 26tn <br /> Council meeting to discuss parking concerns along the Dakota Rail Trail. Staff is in the <br /> process of drafting a letter to be sent to property owners along the trail in Orono. The <br /> Police Chief has been in contact with Rick Meyers of the Bayview Place neighborhood to <br /> advise him of the tentative plans for the October 26t" meeting. <br /> • Amelia Kroeger is tentatively scheduled to attend the November 10th Council wark <br /> session to share her thoughts regarding an environmental-type commission or task force. <br /> • Minutes from the September 14`" Council Wark Session are attached. <br /> The City of Orono complies with the Minnesota Data Practices and Open Meeting Law.
