Orono shall give notice to MCWD prior to commencing any allowed construction <br /> activity. <br /> C. Permitted and Prohibited Uses in Natural Area <br /> 1. No agricultural use is allowed, including tilling, plowing, grazing, gardening, etc. <br /> 2. Unpaved paths or foot trails may be established and maintained for non-motorized <br /> use so long as said use does not impair the Conservation Values. <br /> 3. Selected trails may be constructed of crushed limestone or other all-weather surface <br /> for handicapped accessibility. City may repair existing deteriorating paved trails with <br /> non-bituminous surface as needed. Existing concrete trail to pavilion may be replace <br /> in kind in same location as necessary for handicap access. <br /> 4. Fences may be constructed and maintained, improved, replaced or removed to mark <br /> boundaries, secure the property, or to carry out permitted activities. <br /> �. Except for fences and utilities, no temporary or permanent buildings, structures, <br /> roads, rights of way, parking areas, impervious surfaces or other improvements are <br /> allowed. <br /> 6. The Property may be used to maintain, restore or enhance habitat for wildlife and <br /> biological communities. City may remove timber and other wood products (?) and <br /> manage vegetation in accordance with a Management Plan. Otherwise, no removal, <br /> cutting, pruning, trimming or mowing of any trees or other vegetation, living or dead <br /> is allowed, and introduction of non-native species is not allowed except in specified <br /> circumstances (health/safety/welfare or invasives control). <br /> 7. No alteration of topography is allowed, including ditching, draining, diking, filling, <br /> excavation, dredging, mining drilling, or removal of earth materials except as <br /> minimally necessary to effect a permitted use. <br /> 8.
